One of the Niger Delta militant groups, Joint Revolutionary Council (JRC) has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to blame his men and not militants for the elusive negotiation between them and the Federal Government. President Buhari had said on Sunday while receiving a delegation of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) residents, led by Minister Mallam Muhammed Bello when they paid him Christmas homage that his government will persuade the militants to sheathe their swords and negotiate for peace. However, reacting in a statement, the group’s spokesman identified simply as Whtye, said Buhari should blame Fifth Columnists as the hindrance for the desired peace in the oil region.
